Happy New Year, Edmonton Chef members!

I hope everyone had a great holiday season. It was wonderful to see many of you at the Royal Glenora Club for our Annual Festive Gala Event!

A big thank you to Gordon Food Services, Meuwly’s, Lakeside Farmstead, NAIT, Fuge Sausage, Bearhill Brewing, Chemo, Sysco, the Royal Glenora Club, and many others for their contributions and sponsorship. A special shout-out to our Board members and the many volunteers who made this event possible.

Our first event of the year is Monday, January 20th at Ernest’s at NAIT. Members and guests are invited to join us for this mixer.
3pm- 5pm Be there before 3:30pm and enter win prizes- 7 pc Knife kit and many more Kitchen Gadgets. Young Chef Memberships Ships will also be raffled

Explore Alberta’s Local Food Industry on January 22
11am-1pm Hesco “ drop in anytime in between 11am and 1pm” see some Demonstrations from Garland Canada and enjoy some Mocktails and Snacks 1005 EBY RD S W #4, Edmonton, AB
2:00 PM – 4:30 PM Tour the Alberta Food Centre, 6309-45 Street, Leduc, AB where chefs, food processors, and local Alberta businesses will come together to explore the province’s thriving food industry. This is your chance to discover unique local ingredients, and network with industry professionals. This Event at the Alberta Food Center is Canceled and we will reschedule a later Date

Young Chefs Valentines Dinner February 10th

You are invited to the Edmonton Young Chef’s Valentines Fundraising Dinner.
At NAIT Ernest’s Dining Room, $99 per person. This fundraiser helps us support the events, competitions, and workshops
for the Edmonton Young Chef Members throughout the year.
Please come out and support us and enjoy a fabulous dinner.

Regional Young Chef Competition
On Sunday, March 15h, We will be hosting the Edmonton Regional Young Chef Competition at NAIT. If you are interested in competing to represent us at the CF National Conference, please contact Stephanie at stephanie@alloccasionscatering.ca for more information and application. We are limiting the competition to 6 competitors.
