edmontonCHEF.ca Board Members Steve Buzak, Ron Wong and Jesse Kushneryk along with a big group of Young Chef Members / NAIT Culinary Students came together to celebrate International Chefs Day just in time for Thanksgiving. The group prepared 25 Turkeys, 300 pounds of mashed potatoes, 60 Liters of Gravy, 6 cases of vegetables, and 15 loaves worth of stuffing to feed over 300 people at Boyle Street Community Services. Boyle Street volunteers packaged the meals up for take away and served the meal outdoors to align with current covid protocols.  The food was donated by the Edmonton Food Bank, and all the preparations were done in the commercial kitchens at NAIT. Thank you to our team for coming together to celebrate the culinary profession by providing a hot meal to many in need.
