You will be responsible for all aspects of food safety and standards, being a positive leader for the kitchen team and delivering excellent food quality.

Primary responsibilities:
Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities
Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
Forecast food and labor costs
Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs and cooks
Prepare and cook food on a regular basis
Requirements and skills
Experience with Japanese cooking techniques and ingredients
Completion of a culinary program is considered an asset.
A problem solver with a desire to improve performance.
Relationship building and communication skills.
Ability to lead a team of individuals.
Ability to work amicably and effectively alongside front of house staff
