On November 9th, edmontonCHEFS.ca Members & Partners gathered at Prince Charles School and served 300 students and staff a turkey dinner with all the fixings in the name of International Chefs Day 2018! What an honour it was to serve these enthusiastic, appreciative children from grades 1 – 6!
Our volunteers were Chefs Tom Egan, Bryan Goulet, Merrick Gluska, Boopathi Venkatesan, Jered Evangelos, Roberto Laqui, David Edmondson and Pierre Plamondon. We also had Stephanie Bell from Vertical Growers helping with prep and service, as well as Ashley Kydd from Sysco, Teresa Spinelli from Italian Centre and Lorraine Young from Enterprise Paper.
Thank you to all our partners for making this lunch possible, for donating your time, your culinary talents, food and product. We are so thankful to be able to give back to the community on an annual basis along with the World Association of Chefs.
