What an incredible evening at the “Indigenous Culinary Experience” this past Saturday at Ernest’s Dining Room at NAIT with Chef Shane Chartrand and NAIT Culinary Students (and many edmontonCHEFS.ca Young Chef Members). Chef Shane welcomed guests with stories of his travels and one of a kind experiences with indigenous people and their culinary history. Chef Shane made a point to highlight the efforts of the culinary students who were working alongside him in the kitchen that night. Proceeds from the evening go towards the Aboriginal Culinary Arts Scholarship at NAIT.
